UPSC New Exam Pattern 2013 Civil Services Exam IAS IPS


UPSC New Exam Pattern 2013: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts exam for various services as Civil, Engineering, Combined Defence Services Examination, Naval Academy, and Combined Medical Services Examination.
Recently UPSC released an important notification for certain changes in the scheme of main examination. There are also some changes in language medium in Main examination.

The Civil Services Examination will consist of two successive stages.
(i) Civil Services Preliminary Examination (Objective type)
(ii) Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)

UPSC Exam for IAS IPS:

Preliminary Examination: It consists of two compulsory papers of 200 marks. Each paper will be of two hours duration and based on MCQs pattern.  

The question papers can be solve both in Hindi and English. However, questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level will be tested through passages from English Language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.

  1. thnx for the above article. it is really helpful and imformative.however you do need hard work and self motivation for proper results.i am preparing for IAS hindi 2013 but with today's competition I feel that one must join some sort of coaching institute for proper preparation of IAS Hindi preparartion.
